The Bordeaux blend of this reserve expresses the highest level for the wines made by international varieties grown in the territory of San Colombano; obtained from the best selections of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, in soils loamy and minerals-rich (130 meters a.s.l.). Ageing is provided by 36 months in oak barrels, followed by a long period in the bottle before being put on the market. During the tasting are expressed notes of jam, withered flowers, spices and balsamic. It is highlighted an excellent minerality and a perfect balance; round and full-bodied, this wine has an elegant tannin that expresses the total phenolic maturity achieved in the vineyard.
Expresses its potential in combination with red meat, game (wild boar and deer) and with important blue cheeses.
